This hotel is rumored to be haunted by a number of resident ghosts including those of a young boy who is mostly seen bouncing his ball, a former prostitute, and a tall man who appears over your bed. If you are looking for a ghostly encounter, rooms 11 and 17 are apparently the rooms to rent. Email Haunt

  • It’s haunted, alright!

I have always been an intuitive person and have been drawn to the paranormal for quite some time. During a ghost tour, I volunteered to be placed somewhere alone in the dark in the basement. I kept being touched, despite constantly telling the Spirits to not touch me. I was hearing the name Nancy for the woman touching me, who appeared to be a prostitute; and I forget the name of the male who was touching me, although I want to say his name was John. I was getting visuals of a brothel and a saloon combined. I also imagined people dressed up at a flapper party that took place there. Once one of the tour guides brought me back to the group and asked me if I felt or saw anything, I explained to her the information I saw and received. She said the hotel was built on top of a prior brothel and saloon that was burned down, which I had no idea about. Pretty much everyone in the group saw humongous shadow figures in the basement when we were all sitting there and quietly staring, and we occasionally heard noises. Definitely bad energies down there, so bring protection such as crystal jewelry if you believe in those things.

  • Would return again

I've been there twice. Once just for dinner briefly. At that time we had walked in just in time to have dinner. I had asked to go to the bathroom. Walking there the hallway that divides the bathrooms it's almost as if I hit a wall. I instantly felt dizzy and cloudy headed. Walked into bathroom- nothing. Walked back out, it was gone. I stayed overnight also. During the night a couple there caught an entity on camera behind me. We were able to capture what looked like a person sitting behind the bar after bar close. We also experienced some smells in our hotel room that would come and go. In the children's play room we caught several spikes on our EMF reader after playing certain songs from the 1800s (phone was no where near this) we also scanned the room prior. The place is gorgeous, the staff is very friendly 10/10 would go again to see what else we could catch.

  • Stayed in room 11

This hotel is most certainly haunted. Many personal experiances and also phenomena captured on camera. Only thing I disliked was the "ghost tour" isn't avalible upon request. Only Palmer scheduled tours and investigations.
