This mansion now operates as a museum by the Blue Earth Conty Historical Society and the employees have reported that the building is haunted, saying that even once the building is closed for the evening, some still walk the halls of the home. Visitors have reported hearing ghostly laughter, running footsteps and a strange mist that drifts from room to room. In the home's main bedroom, employees claim they have seen a man wearing an old-fashioned suit sleeping, and when he is approached, he suddenly disappears. Some believe he is the former builder and owner of the historic mansion.
