There are so many great activities to enjoy at Bunker Park Stable, we specialize in agriturism! Make your reservation for a Trail Ride, Pony Lead, Hayrides/Sleigh Rides, Lessons, Day Camps, Scouting Badges! If you’d like, we can bring a Hay Ride or Pony to your place.
Hay Rides - (Reservations Required for Hay Rides) Hay Rides are a great economical group activity, for any time of the year. Come and experience a horse drawn hay ride pulled by our team of gentle draft horses. Gather your family, friends, or co-workers and pile on our large, flat bed wagons for a fun filled, hour long ride through the park. One wagon can accommodate up to 35 people. If your group is larger than that, we will take multiple wagons out.
Trail Rides - (Reservations are required) No riding experience is necessary to enjoy the natural beauty of Bunker Hills Regional Park from horseback! We have a wide variety of horses, including draft horses, for all sizes and skill levels. Come by yourself or bring a group. We can schedule up to 12 riders per hour, depending upon availability of horses and staff; we are able to accommodate more riders if needed. Rides are offered year ’round.
Pony Leads - The perfect activity for the younger horse lover! The pony is led by the parent/guardian (an adult, over the age of 18) on a shaded continuous loop path. Due to insurance requirements, we can no longer allow bike helmets to be worn by riders on the ponies, but riding helmets are included in the price.
Sleigh Rides - We have a variety of sleigh options for you to pick from, based on the number of people in your group. Come on out to enjoy the ride through the regional park, the weather, and the time with your family and friends, as our draft horses pull you through the trails.
Meet ‘N’ Greet - If you want to spend some time grooming a horse or pony, we can arrange a hands-on, non-riding activity where you will use our supplies to gently groom or brush. This is a good horse introduction for someone who may be afraid or someone who is physically unable to ride.
Women's Equestrian Getaway - Come and join us for an afternoon with horses; all women are welcome (18 years old or older). It’s a wonderful hands-on experience! You’ll get an in-depth look at horses and what’s special about them; we’ll be grooming, saddling, and there’s plenty of ride time. This Getaway is for adult women only. Click on the date above for date Registration Form and send it in with non-refundable payment today!
Parent & Child Day - Come spend an afternoon with horses – just you and your child. You’ll have a fun, hands-on experience that includes information, instruction, and riding. This is the kind of afternoon that makes lasting memories!
