What's new at Monster Bash Haunted House for 2024? Do you have any new rides, attractions, or special features that Haunt Seekers should know about?

Everything! Every year is an entirely new theme and layout.
In addition we are working on having some additional items in an adjacent building this year. Keep an eye on our website for an announcement soon!

What are you most excited about for the 2024 Halloween Season?

We listen to our attendees. We take into consideration their comments and try to improve every year. We have a couple of suggestions we are implementing this year to try to give a better experience for everyone who attends.

What differentiates Monster Bash Haunted House from other local haunts in Minnesota?

We have a new theme and layout every year!
We don't rely strictly on jump scares; instead we tell a story with our haunt.

How long has Monster Bash Haunted House been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about Monster Bash Haunted House's history?

This is our 12 haunt (13th year). We started out as a way to raise money for the local high school band and choir to take performance trips. About 6 years ago we transitioned into a 501(c)3 charity which supports all the arts at the local high school... think a booster club for the arts. We have big plans to build a center for the arts adjacent to our haunted house in the next few years! Our board of directors is dedicated to supporting the arts in our community.

What's your favorite experience since opening Monster Bash Haunted House?

For most of the board of directors our favorite experience is working with the students and their families. It is very rewarding to watch and participate in the growth of our youth as well as watching how families grow closer as they work on building, decorating and acting in the haunt.

How long is a typical haunt experience at Monster Bash Haunted House from start to finish?

This changes from year to year. . . and it depends upon you and your group. We have people who rush their way through while others get stuck at multiple points unable to get past a scare. While the line can be long on busy nights, the actual haunted house probably takes 15 minutes or so to get through on average. The goal is to extend this further with a building expansion next year.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how scary would you say Monster Bash Haunted House is? Why?

This is always a tough question. I don't know you. I don't know what scares you. What I do know is that a vast majority of our attendees enjoy their experience and many come out breathless at the end of their trip through the haunt.

Does Monster Bash Haunted House's property have any real haunted history? Do you have a spooky encounter you'd like to share?

While we don't have any evidence of an actual haunting or tragic history, many of our workers have stories of hearing voices or movements in the building even though they know they are alone!

Can Monster Bash Haunted House accommodate large groups? How many people can experience Monster Bash Haunted House together as a group?

Our haunt restricts group sizes in the haunt to a maximum of 6 per group. We believe that smaller groups heighten the experience and scares. We do welcome larger groups to come we just ask them to break up into smaller sub groups to walk through.

Does Monster Bash Haunted House offer any special deals, discounts, or coupons?

At this time, the only special deal is a $3 admission discount if you buy a shirt/sweatshirt for the current year. We do sometimes have free passes available through radio stations. Remember we are a charity, no one gets a salary or paycheck for working or running the haunt. We value every dollar we bring in and work diligently to ensure the money is used responsibly.
